In the last 3 years, the Nats won the World Series (2019), the Mystics won the WNBA Championship (2019) and the Caps won the Stanley Cup (2018). Brand spanking new Audi Stadium was completed in 2018 for the DC United and Spirit. The XFL’s DC Defenders arrived onto the scene in 2020. And the Wizards and Washington Football Team…..well, I guess let’s just say they are overdue 🙂 DC is known for it’s politics but is quickly gaining a reputation as a sports town with winning teams and beautiful venues. General schedules are listed below and here is a map of venue locations (just filter by “sports”) – don’t miss the opportunity to check out a game or many!
